Affiliate and advertising disclosure
The short version: we don't earn anything from retailers today. If that changes, it will never change our advice, and we'll always tell you.
Where things stand today
Jackets.ie currently has no affiliate relationships, sponsorships or paid placements. We don't sell jackets, carry advertising or receive free products in return for coverage.
Affiliate links in future
We plan to join affiliate programmes run by clothing retailers and affiliate networks. When you follow an affiliate link from Jackets.ie to a retailer and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
This income will help fund the site, and we'll handle it in a few clear ways:
- Affiliate links will be labelled, and pages that contain them will say so near the top.
- Commission rates will never decide which jackets, brands or retailers we include, recommend or rank.
- We will include good options from retailers we don't have a relationship with when they are the right answer.
- Prices and availability shown on the site will come from retailer data and show when they were last updated. The retailer's own site is always the final word.
Advertising and sponsorship
If we ever carry advertising or sponsored content, it will be clearly marked as such and kept separate from our editorial guides. Sponsors will have no say over our advice.
